The Chico Animal Shelter is YOUR community animal shelter, and there are many ways that you can get involved.
Volunteers are the life blood of any animal shelter, and we are always accepting new volunteers to help with a variety of tasks.

For General Volunteers, please send an email to [email protected]. We will give you a call to schedule your first shift.
For Dog Walking, please click on the link below. Here you can sign up and read the pre-orientation paperwork.
