Donations to the City of Chico Animal Shelter are handled through the North Valley Community Foundation. One hundred percent of the funds raised for the City of Chico Animal Shelter goes directly to caring for the animals at the shelter, mostly for medical care and spaying and neutering adoptable animals.
Donations helped animals like Leo (pictured below), who needed surgery for bladder stones, Arnold who had a tumor in his mouth and teeth so rotten they all had to be pulled out, and Temperance who came to us with an old compound fracture that was badly infected. In many other shelters, Leo, Arnold, and Temperance would not have been given a second chance, but all three, and many more, are all living in permanent, loving homes after receiving lifesaving medical care. Donations also go to spay and neuter the many animals that come through our doors before they are adopted out. Thank you, Chico for your support!!!! YOU are making a difference for our community's animals.

Donations
Please make sure to earmark your donations for the Chico Animal Shelter. You can make a donation in person, by mail or by phone. We accept cash, debit and major credit cards, and checks. 100% of your donations are used directly for the care of sheltered animals. You may download the Donation Form and bring it in or mail your donation to the shelter.
