Handsome Hound Has His Home (Hospice)

Skipper was rescued!  Our handsome hound has found his final home with a very special guardian.  We call this program "fospice" for a combination of fostering and hospice.  I called him a handsome hound with Medicare but the real program means that Chico Animal Shelter provides all of his medical care while the guardian provides the love and comfort he needs.
In case you didn't figure it out Skipper found a special place in my heart. As a fellow septuagenarian (all though his were dog years) I empathized with his sometimes faltering steps and slow pace, but I also admired his spirit.
Enjoy your new home Skipper and warmest regards to your new guardian.
